Beyond Measure
Museum of Graffiti, Miami. 2024
In May 2024 I presented a solo exhibition at the Museum of Graffiti Miami that traced my ongoing investigation into urban identity, color and gesture. Works ranged from 2 site-specifically designed Hanging Installations, 2 recent paintings, a couple of older ones and 4 small watercolors on paper that translate street energy into studio practice. Presented within the Museum of Graffiti’s context, the body of work positioned personal mark-making alongside broader histories of style writing graffiti.

This was my first solo museum exhibition — at the Museum of Graffiti in Miami — and I was given the freedom to treat the room as my playground: two hanging installations, five canvases, four works on paper and a printed vinyl floor, all arranged to show exactly where my abstract graffiti writing stands today.
Inspired by flamboyant Miami, I dared myself to use a color I’d long avoided — hot pink — nodding to Lady Pink, Barbie pink (The Barbie movie was just released), and the freedom to choose simply because I could.
For this show, Museum of Graffiti made a collaboration with Vanity Projects -Miami Wynwood’s hottest nail salon - who created 3 special nail designs inspired by my art for their monthly special.
Special thanks to:
Alan Ket, Allison Freidin, Noah, Jake, Ariel, the Museum of Graffiti team, Vanity Projects Miami, Dutch Culture USA and RipIt, and everyone who came out to the vernissage — especially friends and the local graffiti community.
“Inspired by flamboyant Miami I chose a color I hardly ever use for main color: Hot Pink. Just because… Lady Pink, Barbie pink and just because I could.”
