Beyond Measure

Museum of Graffiti, Miami. 2024

In May 2024 I presented a solo exhibition at the Museum of Graffiti Miami that traced my ongoing investigation into urban identity, color and gesture. Works ranged from 2 site-specifically designed Hanging Installations, 2 recent paintings, a couple of older ones and 4 small watercolors on paper that translate street energy into studio practice. Presented within the Museum of Graffiti’s context, the body of work positioned personal mark-making alongside broader histories of style writing graffiti.

Inspired by flamboyant Miami I chose a color I hardly ever use for main color: Hot Pink. Just because… Lady Pink, Barbie pink and just because I could.
