Utrecht's most famous gnome has his own book now, entitled: 'KBTR - De Utrechtse Kabouter'.

I was one of the lucky ones to hold the book in my hands already and I must say: it rocks. The KBTR always has a sharp view on society, anti-society and the news of the day.

The legendary Fun Gallery was one of the first galleries in down town NYC that showed graffiti art, introducing the underground art form into the mainstream art world. Because of this, the Fun Gallery holds an important place in graffiti art history.

The Czechian makers of the upcoming movie 'Girl Power' about women in graff (expected: 2013), tipped me about this Urban Art Festival in their capital Prague/Praha. The event goes with the name Městem Posedlí aka Stuck On The City.

Unfortunately the link to the english site is not working, so here is the Czechian site. The language is difficult to understand, but the line up of artists is clear : Akai, Bates, Delta, Brad Downey, Smash137, Honet, Horfe, How&Nosm, Poet73, ZEDZ and more.

I'm so happy with my latest book purchase.

It's a little booklet hand made and published by Demy Sapthu in a very limited edition. The booklet contains 75 photographs of BRUSH tags taken in Amsterdam in 2011/2012 and comes in a box signed by the Brushman himself.

I have no idea if Demy still has copies left, but if you wanna get yours, I guess you better go ask him here with da quickness.

See A Sound @ Project space OZ Amsterdam

Went to see Mashville's silkscreensoundclash See A Sound last Friday at a new gallery located in the heart of the Red Light District. The city is trying to get the red light out of the district and offers opportunities to creative initiatives to start things like galleries and studios. Project space OZ is one of them.
